The BJC prides itself on being an organisation which is dedicated to ensuring that our members have the chance to learn, develop and be the best judoka and person that they can be.

Whilst we recognise and value the contribution made by all parents, spectators and supporters, please note that the BJC will henceforth adopt a zero tolerance policy towards any of the following, whether at any BJC event at any level (including club level) or in any other judo context, including online or in any other form of publication.

  • Bullying or seeking to undermine any competitor, official or coach;
  • Online “trolling”;
  • Harassment of any individual or group;
  • Aggression or rudeness to any individual;
  • Insulting behaviour;
  • Overly negative or aggressive shouting or comments;
  • Ignoring or disobeying reasonable requests from officials;
  • Spurious and frivolous complaints;

Action which the BJC may take against any individual or individuals engaging in such activity include (but is not limited to) the following:

  1. Formal disciplinary action against any BJC member;
  2. Immediate exclusion from a BJC event;
  3. Exclusion from any or all future BJC events;
