The BJC award evening 2024

Drayton manor Hotel, Tamworth, Staffordshire.
The evening commenced with the the usual pre drinks, meet & greet.
One of the best things about this event is the opportunity to meet people that you wouldn't always get to meet at other BJC events with attendees travelling from as far south as Cornwall and this year as far North as Yorkshire.
In attendance were a large range of ages and grades, if you didn't know someone at the beginning of the evening by the time you leave you most certainly will have had the opportunity.The menu this years consisted of Leek & potato soup ,followed by blade of beef, dauphinoise potatoes and vegetable's with sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for dessert. For our vegan and vegetarian attendees there was Spinach Risotto with pine nuts and parmesan followed by chocolate orange torte.
Bernard Richmond K.C. was the Master of Ceremonies and as ever gave a light-hearted but polished performance.
Representing Robin Otani ( BJC President ) was BJC vice president and Son of the President ,Stuart Otani accompanied by his Daughter Florence.
This years raffle was for SADS UK ( Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome). raising £532 in total
