The BJC awards evening 2023 was held at the Drayton Manor Hotel, Tamworth, Staffordshire.
The evening as usual was a great success, this year being attended by Vice President Stuart Otani.
With its usual level of humour provided by the master of ceremony Bernard Richmond and anticipation from those awaiting the results, It was what a good awards evening is made of.
It was also a great opportunity to catch up with Judo friends and family that we may not see at other events.
The full list of winners is below, lots of happy winners with the prestigious 'Outstanding contribution in 2023' being present to Jonathan Boswell & Beryl Cooke and the 'Lifetime achievement award' being presented this year to Jacky & Tom Gray of the Cornwall area.
The evening raffle for ‘ Cancer Research’ raised an amazing figure of £541.
