This is YOUR opportunity to contest for your next grade with greater certainty of being matched in pools of your size and grade.

Do not miss out on this chance to earn your next belt in a fair and well managed environment overseen by the ATO’s of each area with fully trained Referees officiating and to have your Kata and techniques assessed to the correct standard.

This event occurs only twice this year.  Don't miss out!

Conditions of Combined Area Grading:

• Mat Fee £10 per person.
• BJC Contest Rules 2019 will apply in all cases.
• 
  All those attending will Contest first and those successful will be asked to demonstrate Kata & Waza (in that order).
• 
  Junior grades to be awarded at end of Junior session and Seniors at end of Senior session
• White BJC compliant Judogi required with Zori, non-confirming Judogi will not be accepted
• Current BJC licence is essential
• Minimum time between grades is generally three months or twelve training sessions below 1st Kyu.  From 1st Kyu and above time in grade is as per BJC Technical Notices.
• Please note that if period in grade is less than three months (below 1st Kyu), evidence of training sessions attended will be required.
